Gaffer here. Have shoot smallbore since the 1950's of and on. I am now 78 years of age, much wiser but now unable to shoot well enough to stay competitive. Live in Maine but shot back in the 60's in two Connecticut Leagues with the Enfield Team.
Yesterday I shot in a 160 shot Prone match here in Maine and can hardly move today. Didn't do all that well. broke my sling half way through and now have trouble seeing clearly and my scores prove it. It has been a good ride. Started initially with a standard weight Winchester 52, then to 52C with electric bedding and then to Anschutz. That Supermatch 54 was build in 1963 and is still ticking 47 years later.
