Looking for a quick reference on how many clicks to adjust my rear sight for a 200 yard shoot. Change from 50 yard to 100 yard was 52 clicks with Eley Black Box for my Anschutz 1411. Do not know if I can get enough height. Also have a H & R M12 Redfield International or could Palma sights on it for additional height. Anyone have an idea of the number for 200 yards?
I know the drop is about 42" and also the target is 20' higher than the bench. Just looking for a starting point as ammunition is so expensive. Thank you

If it took 52 clicks to get from 50 to 100 yards then you have ~7.5 clicks per MOA. If the drop is 42" at 200 yards (I can't remember if that is correct but your value seems reasonable) then we have 21 MOA or ~155 clicks from 100 to 200 yards. It's been a while since I have done it but 300 clicks rings a bell for me where my sight needs 100 clicks between 50 and 100. I think we can safely ignore the 20' height change since 155 clicks is just an approximation anyway.
The other thing you can consider, assuming Anschutz sights, or at least sights mounted on the dovetail: 42" at 200 yards works out to about 0.175" on a 30" sight radius. If you run out of vertical on your sights use about a 4mm rear riser block but keep the front sight mounted directly on the barrel. (0.175" = 4.4mm) That should get you the elevation you need without too much hassle or wear and tear on the sights.
I seem to recall the standard riser block is 4mm but I am sitting at my desk, far from my stuff so that is a bit of a guess.
Without changing a lot on the Anschutz as I use a Tiger Eye front sight I can not get enough elevation which is what I thought. My Anschutz is setup for prone and benchrest 50 yards and meters and I hate to mess with a rifle that is working well. By taking my M12 with a Tompkins front and Palma rear I can get all the elevation that I need. A club member sold me two bricks of Eley Tenex last night for $250 so I will be off and running today to try that and my Black Box. Shooting 200 yards is new to me but I enjoy the challenge of shooting against highly modified scoped rifles and giving them a run for the money. I am probably a dinosaur in the eyes of many for I love to shoot vintage class rifles that have been brought back to life and enjoy their original beauty. I run the iron sight matches for my club and RFC.

I take the riser off my front sight, and bring the rear up 120 clicks. I'll have to check how big the riser is on the front sight -1/4 inch maybe? Rear sight is a Redfield Palma.
With the Tompkins front and Palma rear it works well. Now we just need the weather to behave. It is not looking good with showers and 17 mph wind expected.
